We appreciate it can be a little daunting sometimes setting up your first website and finding a trustworthy company to do it for you and as such you probably have a few questions whizzing around inside your head right now. Well, to hopefully make things a little clearer, we have put together some of the frequently asked questions we get.

I need a website - what do I do next?

First, decide on what sort of website you need. If you are not sure take a read of this: About Websites. Once you have decided you can either just click on the appropriate package or, if you are still not quite sure, just get in touch with your details and we can talk you through it.

Also don’t worry if you don’t have a name for your website yet as we can help you get one although you won’t necessarily need this until your new website is ready.

Will the website be mobile friendly?

Yes, we will build you a responsive website that will adapt and fit any screen from desktop, laptop, tablet and mobile phone. We provide this as standard seeing as the number of people using their mobiles to browse the internet is ever increasing.

I am starting a new business and my funds are low - can you help?

Although our prices are set as low as we can we may be able to help in other ways. Before you choose your package get in touch. We may be able to offer an alternative that suits your needs better without increased cost. There have been occasions where the packages have been adapted to provide specific functions at no extra cost.

What is a Content Management System?

A content management system is a feature of your website that allows you to make changes via an admin panel. This means you can update the website in a few clicks, change text or maybe even add a video, without the need to contact us. Don’t worry we will show you how this works as part of the process.

Can I add more content/pages?

All of our websites run on a content management system using WordPress, which means you have an admin panel which you can log into and update the text and images. If you’d like to add more pages to your website you may do so at any time. You are free to change your contact details, add pages, images, videos, PDFs and other content at will.

Can you make future changes for me instead?

Absolutely. Your project manager will always be available to make any on-going changes you need and all at a very reasonable cost too. In fact if it’s something really simple we will do it at no charge, how about that for service!

Do you provide Hosting?

Yes we do. All our websites come with Managed Hosting. This not only provides maximum internet exposure but also ensures you have the latest software updates and regular website backups. Please see individual packages for price details.

Can I use my own hosting?

Of course, you are free to move your website/hosting at any time. However, If you do so within the first twelve months there will be a £200 admin fee to remove all your data from our systems. This will be reduced to £50 after the first twelve months.

Can I upgrade my website/package?

Of course you can. We appreciate circumstances change and as such we will aim to help with this at minimal cost to yourself although actual pricing will depend on the level of change required.

Where are you based?

To keep prices as low as possible, we’re predominantly an online-only web design agency. However for those interested in the geographical location we are based in the West Midlands and are more than happy for you to take us out to lunch sometime if you are passing by!
